Troop Weekend

We sponsered Westover Military for the troop weekend event and provided them with a DJ. 

Friends of the Homeless Golf Tournament Fundraiser

We sponsored the annual fundraiser golf tournament hosted by Friends of the Homeless

Annual Scholarship Ceremony

This year we held our annual scholarship ceremony at our corporate office. We invited our four scholarship recipients and their guests to celebrate all that they have achieved. We also had a dinner for the two recipients that recieved an additional scholarship from our chapter.

Main Street Post Office

We held a table at the post office to grab the attention of new possible members and we provided them with information about our services and what we offer at the credit union.

Shred Day

Our annual shred day event is a popular event that our members love to come to. This year we had our shred day in the spring to help those start their spring cleaning early. We partnered with ProShred to make this event possible.

100th Anniversary Celebration

We celebrated our 100-year anniversary, and we opened an invitation to our members. Mayor Domenic J. Sarno joined us along with 94.7 WMAS who provided us our members with music for this special day. We also had a food truck, drinks, games, gifts, etc. for our Pioneer Valley family.

Federal Duck Stamp

Pioneer Valley hosted the Federal Duck Stamp Exhibit at our Sixteen Acres Branch. The display was for all our members to see from April 24th to April 28th.

ATM Spring Sprinkling Event

To show our appreciation to our members and in honor of our 100th anniversary we gave away $100 to some of our members. Members who withdrew money from the atm received a $100 bill randomly.

Children's Book Month

In honor of Children’s book month, credit unions in Massachusetts have come together to donate books to children in need.

Pink in the Rink

The Springfield Thunderbirds had their Pink in the Rink game where survivors of breast cancer were invited to the event to watch the game. This event was hosted by Rays of hope and Baystate health. Our staff was gifted with a suite to watch the game.

Cornhole Tournament (Lisa's Light of Hope)

Pioneer Valley Credit Union has supported many different causes over the years and Lisa’s Light of Hope is another cause we wanted to help bring it to light. Many young girls and boys and young adults suffer from eating disorders and Lisa’s Hope brings awareness of this disease in helps of helping people overcome this disease. At this event we participated in cornhole tournament and gave away raffle prizes.

Shriner's Hospital for Children

Shriners Hospital for Children is one of the leading pediatric hospitals in the United States and their main mission is to help children who are ill. We were hapy to donate $2000 to the hospital this year in support of their mission. 

Baystate Health Foundation Radiothon

Pioneer Valley Credit Union is honored to be affiliated with the Children’s Miracle Network through Baystate’s Children’s Hospital and 94.7 WMAS. The care their children received fits our philosophy of “people helping people” the philosophy that our Credit Union lives by each day.

Pathlight

Not only a great neighbor to the Pioneer Valley Credit Union Brookdale Drive branch location, Pathlight provides necessary and crucial services tailored to individuals with disabilities in the community. PVCU is proud to partner with Pathlight through donations and sponsorship.

Rays of Hope

Each year, Pioneer Valley Credit Union participates in the Rays of Hope Walk and Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer held at Temple Beth El, Springfield.
