We will guide you through your home purchase process, from application to closing. We offer conventional mortgages (20% down), FHA, USDA and much more. Check out our First Time Home Buyer program experience.
At PVCU, we meet with you in person, virtually or over the phone to review your mortgage options.
Budget. Budget. Budget!
What you can afford depends on your income, credit rating, current expenses, down payment and interest rate. All of these factors determine the results of your prequalification letter.
A prequalification letter is a document from PVCU stating that we are tentatively willing to lend to you, up to a certain loan amount*, for your home loan. It lets the seller of the home know that you are likely to be able to get financing. Sellers frequently require a prequalification letter before accepting your offer on a house.
We take the time you need to perform a home affordability analysis and to help determine which mortgage program is right for you.
Think of Pioneer Valley Credit Union’s Mortgage Team as your Financial Life Coaches—with the ultimate driving goal to get you moved into the home of your dreams! Before you pack your bags- you need to take the first step. Talk to PVCU before contacting your realtor or even looking at homes. Take the time you need to get prequalified first, and let PVCU help guide you through the rest!
